Overview

Revamping both Motherhood and A Pea in The Pod websites onto Shopify, using one as a foundation for the other.

What We Did

Create the Motherhood site, duplicating all the core functionalities while keeping the frontend independent and customizable.

  • UI / UX
  • Development
  • Replatforming

Project Information

While replatforming both Destination Maternity sites onto Shopify, we made sure to stay focused on the unique maternity customer. Using the same dev foundation, we kept the functionality the same across both sites, while maintaining unique and different experiences between the two, taking into consideration each brand’s positioning in the market.

Our Solution

BlueSwitch identified areas of focus particularly impactful for the maternity customer and carefully designed and crafted theme sections tailored to creating engaging customer experiences. This allowed the teams on both sites full flexibility and creativity, with both sites launching in a short 3 months timeline.

"When you head on out to the Moon, in very short order, and you get a chance to look back at the Earth, that horizon slowly curves around in upon himself, and all of sudden you are looking at something that is very strange, but yet is very, very familiar, because you are beginning to see the Earth evolve."
